This is a miniature of one of the waterfalls in Starved Rock State Park, Il, (one of my favorite places!). I could just sit at this place for hours and hours...just soaking it in! This watercolor is about 2" x 4".

Hi Mary. Thought I left a note for you here earlier, but guess I pushed the wrong button. Ha! I love this scene..wish I was sitting in that rushing water. Love all your greens.

Mary, this is really nice. Your water looks so real. Can't believe you have all that detail in such a small piece.

Thank you Nita! I have sent this one away to D.C. now, (fingers crossed). Quite frankly, I'm tired of looking at it and am ready for a fresh scene!

This is simply beautiful Mary. How exquisite! And to think you have executed this in such a small format. That makes it all the more awesome. Congratulations!

Jean! It's always such a delight to "see" you! Thank you for visiting and also for the great comments. I'm afraid I'm hooked on these minis. They offer such a challenge and are great fun for such an anal person as myself! Ha!
