The season is coming down to the wire now. I have a few marigolds and nasturtiums that are hanging on for dear life and are begging to be painted before the frost does away with them. Perhaps I should have rendered the nasturtiums first for they are far more vulnernable but...I have the mind of an artist...logic eludes me...

Oh Mary this is so beautiful. What wonderful warm colours. I love how you always come up with a new design. They belong together but they all look unique. I really enjoy your wonderful work.

Thank you so much Doris! This flower series has really been so much fun. I'm getting braver now about exploring compositional options. I have just acquired Adobe Illustrator 9 and am in the process of discovering new applications, (transparency for one...woo-hoo!) Thanks for taking a look!
